Additionally, the weekly superfast special train departing from Chennai Central on Friday at 7 PM, heading to Nagercoil (train number 12689), will be diverted via Salem, Erode, Thrissur, Kollam, and Thiruvananthapuram. The train departing from Nagercoil on 25th at 7.35 PM, heading to Chennai Central (train number 12690), will be diverted via Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Thrissur, Erode, and Salem. Furthermore, the train departing from Guruvayur on 27th at 11.15 PM, heading to Chennai Egmore (train number 16128), will be diverted via Thrissur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, and Chennai Beach. The superfast express train departing from Aurai, West Bengal, on 26th at 4.15 PM, heading to Kanyakumari (train number 12665), will be diverted via Trichy, Karur, Erode, Podanur, Palakkad, and Thiruvananthapuram.
