Yo, there's been a major screw-up on the train tracks between Kasara and TGR-3 DOWN line section. Happened around 6:31 pm on the Down Main line in the Mumbai division. A goods train, the JNPT/DLIB Container train, got messed up with two wagons going off the rails. This is causing a mess for the mail express traffic between Kasara and Igatpuri on the DOWN section, as well as in the middle line. But don't worry, suburban local train traffic is all good. The traffic from Igatpuri to Kasara on the UP section is running smoothly, no issues there. They've even ordered and moved accident relief trains to the site, one from Kalyan station road and one from Igatpuri station rail. As a result, the following trains, DN 12261 CSMT-Howrah exp and DN 11401 CSMT-Adilabad Nandigram Express, are being delayed. That's all I got for now, stay tuned for more deets. I just wanted to talk about something I've noticed lately.
As the tag says, I'm concerned about all the trains on the Bilaspur-Jharsuguda-Tatanagar route running late.
Since I haven't traveled this route before, I don't know much about it. So I thought I'd ask you guys.
What's happening there? Yesterday, train number 12261 arrived in BSP 20 mins late. But it reached TATA almost 2.5 hours behind schedule (Right now it's about to reach Howrah and delayed by 4.5 hours!!!). When I looked into it more, I found out that the delay is mostly happening in the SER territory, after leaving Jharsuguda. Every day, all the trains passing through this stretch are getting ridiculously late, especially after JHS. And then they get even more delayed after leaving KGP. This has been going on for several months now and no steps have been taken to fix it. Is this delay because of the lazy and ineffective control by SER? Or is it something else?
I have to fly to Belapur on the 19th of December for some official work and I planned to return on train number 12261 on the 24th. The office was willing to give me a flight for my return journey too, but like other train enthusiasts, I find it hard to resist taking the train. But now, looking at the train's running history, I'm really worried that it will reach Howrah on the night of the 26th and I'll have to go straight to the office without any rest.

Jaise ki tag me likha hai, mujhe late running ki chinta hai, na sirf is train ki balki Bilaspur-Jharsuguda-Tatanagar raste se guzne waali har train ki delay hone ki.
Pehle maine is route par travel nahi kiya hai, isliye mujhe jyada jankari nahi hai. Isliye maine socha ki main aapse puch lu.
Vahaan kya chal raha hai? Kal 12261 BSP par 20 min late pahunch gayi. Lekin TATA me toh 2.5 ghante late pahunchi (Abhi tak toh Howrah pahunchney ke baad bhi 4.5 ghante late hai!!!). Aur jab maine aur dekha, tab pata chala ki is delay ka main reason SER territory me hai, matlab Jharsuguda chhodne ke baad. Har din is raste se guzarne waali saari trains badi late chal rahi hai, jyada tar JHS chhodne ke baad. Aur phir KGP chhodne ke baad aur bhi jyada late ho rahi hai. Yehi hai haalat pichle kuch mahino se aur koi sudhaar ke kadam nahi uthaye gaye hai. Kya SER ki laparwahi aur control ka karan hai? Ya kuch aur?
Mujhe 19 December ko Belapur jana hai official kaam ke liye aur maine 12261 se wapas lene ki planning ki hai 24 December ko. Office tayyar tha meri wapas yatra ke liye flight dena ke liye, lekin aise hi dusre logon ki tarah, mujhe train yatra se door rehna bahut mushkil hai kyunki main ek railfan hu. Ab running history dekh kar main kaafi dar gaya hun ki yeh Howrah ko 26 December ki raat tak pahunch sakti hai aur mujhe office jaake rest liye bina kaam karna padega.
