Yo, check it out! The Purvanchal Expressway, a 341km stretch from Lucknow to Azamgarh and Ghazipur, is gonna be connected to the under-construction Ganga Expressway, which is a 594km road from Meerut to Unnao and Prayagraj. They gonna link up through the Kisaan Path and Lucknow Outer Ring Road, and also the Lucknow Kanpur Expressway. They gonna have these cool cloverleaf and trumpet interchanges, you feel me? Once the Ganga e-way is up and running, we might even see a link road connecting all these expressways, making travel hella simple! Oh, and by the way, Lucknow ORR and KP already form a ring around Lucknow, and they're building this dope cloverleaf interchange between Lucknow Kanpur Road and the ORR/KP to make it super seamless. They got it in the works, check out the map! You know, it's a pain right now because the Agra Lucknow Expressway and the Purvanchal Expressway are on opposite sides of the city. It's like they expect us to tear through Lucknow just to connect the two! I've been through that struggle myself. But once Lucknow ORR/KP is good to go, we gonna have some smooth access-controlled connectivity. I gotta say, I've driven on Ayodhya Road a few times, and it's not too bad. But apparently, the NHAI canceled its plans to widen it before the opening of the Ram Mandir, so it wouldn't mess with the pilgrims and all that. Respect, I guess. Now, let's talk about the Gorakhpur Link Expressway. That thing's been causing all kinds of drama since day one. Nobody's happy with how they laid it out, and it's costing a crazy amount of dough, like ₹5,876 crores, man! People are debating left and right. It was supposed to open by March 2022, but there's still no clear picture of when it's gonna be done. Even the UP CM ain't pleased with the progress, you feel me? Ummeed hai, jab Ganga e-way chalne lagega, toh hum dekhenge ki in e-way(s) ke beech ek link road ban jayegi, jisse travel asaan ho jaega.

Haan, Lucknow ORR / KP pehle se hi Lucknow ko gher ke ring road ki tarah hai. Lucknow Kanpur Road (NH 27) aur Lucknow ORR / KP ke beech Cloverleaf Interchange construction mein hai, jo seamless connectivity provide karega. (Attached map dekhe)

Sach mein, Agra Lucknow E-way aur Purvanchal E-way abhi Lucknow ke west aur east side pe hi end ho rahi hai, iss wajah se dono E-way(s) ko connect karne ke liye shehar kaatna padta hai. Khud bhi main isme victim ho gaya hoon. Lekin jab Lucknow ORR / KP taiyyar ho jayegi, wahaan access controlled connectivity hogi.

Maine Ayodhya Road pe kuch baar travel kiya hai aur woh kaafi achchi hai. Maine ek article mein padha tha ki NHAI ne Ram Mandir ke khulne se pehle uski six-laning cancel kar di hai, kyunki agar NH construction process mein hoti toh yatra karnewalo pe negative impact pad sakta tha.

Gorakhpur Link Expressway se judi bahut saari controversies rahi hai uske sochne se hi. Kisi ko uski alignment pasand nahi hai. Aur waise bhi, 91km GKP Link e-way ka cost karib ₹5,876 crores hoga, jisse phir bhi log batedari kar rahe hai. GKP Link e-way ka Mar' 22 tak khul jana tha lekin abhi tak uski completion ki koi saaf tasveer nahi hai. UP ke Mananiye CM bhi uski progress se khush nahi hai.

National Expressway 6, also known as the Lucknow Kanpur Expressway, has been a big disappointment. It was delayed for way too long, causing the construction costs to go up. The section in Lucknow district is already developed, both above the ground and on the road (NH 27). The section in Unnao district, on the other hand, is a completely new project. The so-called Lucknow Kanpur Expressway is actually the smallest expressway in India, only 63km long. It starts near Amar Shaheed Path in Lucknow and ends in Unnao District. So why do they even call it the Lucknow Kanpur Expressway? The UPEIDA, the organization in charge of this project, missed a golden opportunity to connect the cities of Lucknow and Kanpur and make a lot of money from it. What a shame!
