ticket could not be confirmed, leading to an argument between the passenger and the booking clerk. The passenger alleged that the booking clerk used abusive language, which the clerk denied. Local residents intervened and calmed the situation. The booking counter's CS, Ajay Kumar Saha, explained that the booking system has been experiencing technical issues for several days, causing inconvenience to passengers. Meanwhile, train operations on the Gaya-Howrah section have been canceled till January 3rd due to the ongoing third line commissioning work between Chatra and Murarai and pre-non-interlocking/interlocking work on the Rampurhat-Sahibganj section. This affects trains like the Up Jaynagar-Howrah (13031) and Howrah-Gaya (13023) from December 22nd to January 2nd, and the Down Gaya-Howrah and Jaynagar Howrah Express from December 23rd to January 3rd. The Rampurhat-Sahibganj Passenger (03407/03408) has also been canceled from December 22nd to January 2nd. Passengers are facing difficulties due to these cancellations. The cancellation period was initially till December 22nd but has been extended due to the ongoing work.

Iske saath hi, Gaya-Howrah section pe train operations 3rd January tak cancel kar di gayi hai. Yeh cancellation Chatra aur Murarai ke beech third line commissioning work aur Rampurhat-Sahibganj section pe pre-non-interlocking/interlocking work ki wajah se hai. Isse Jaynagar-Howrah (13031) aur Howrah-Gaya (13023) jaisi trains 22nd December se 2nd January tak cancel rahengi. 23rd December se 3rd January tak Down Gaya-Howrah aur Jaynagar Howrah Express bhi cancel hai. Rampurhat-Sahibganj Passenger (03407/03408) bhi 22nd December se 2nd January tak cancel hai. Is cancellation ki wajah se passengers ko bahut dikkat ho rahi hai. In 13023 Train Cancelled marked upto 02.01.2024 while in 13024 Train cancelled marked only upto 22.12.2023. Reservation available w.e.f. 23.12.2023. Strange. Any one has clarification regarding this.
