7 days of fighting with the System.
this is my experience of initiating, fighting and loosing the fight with the SYSTEM at Bharuch Station (the Touts-Rail Official Nexus in Tatkal System)
I was getting in excess of CKWL#30 in 12859 Geetanjali Exp even after reaching the booking counter at 5 am.

in all the Q's at reservation counters. On 3rd day, i noticed the same people in the Q furnishing multiple requisition slips and decided to file a written complaint.
Day 1. i reach the booking office and give a written complaint and ask for an acknowledgement number. the booking clerk tries to pacify me, but upon my insisting refers me to file complaint in the Parcel Booking office.
the official at parcel booking office refers me to Dy. Station Superintendent. the Dy.Superintendent asks the details of the matter, calls the booking office (talks in gujrati,which i could not understand), then asks me to visit the booking office and file a complaint there only.
I again reach the booking office, the in-charge tries to pacify me and even offers tatkal tickets in trains of my wish. i decline this offer and insist on registering the complaint.
He then calls the RPF and Station Superintendent, and suggests me to file complaint with the Superintendent and RPF (since managing crowd and Q's is not work of booking official).
I reach the Station Superintendent office and submit my complaint, he declines to give any reference no. or receipt acknowledgement.
I then reach the RPF post, the same reluctance to file the complaint is showed. Finally after 4 hours of meddling at Bharuch Station i get my complaint filed.
Day 2. RPF calls me and records my statement.
Day 3. I visist the station superintendent and inquire about the action taken. he asks if i am from media ? he again ask if i need confirmed tickets ? after my refusal he says that matter has been forwarded to RPF for further investigation.
Day 4. i am called to identify the suspects, i identify all 4 of them from the CCTV footage. RPF take the matter forward and calls me again next day.
Day 5. RPF re-records my statement and warns me of not turning hostile. they inform me that next day the matter will be put infront of the railway magistrate
Day 6. I appear infront of the railway magistrate, the RPF puts forward all the case, the suspects are also present.
And here happens the most saddening event, 2 railway employee from bharuch station (1 from commercial, 1 from booking) give their statement that these people (suspects) are their friends and they had instructed them to stand in the Q's. the case falls apart. The magistrate asks for further evidence, which neither RPF has nor do I. the matter is closed .
Day 7. RPF thanks me for my support, they then tell me of big time corruption in the system, how money reached all employees on tatkal tickets. they even talk about other rail related crimes which has backing of these employees.
i thought i challenge the system, but in the end, the SYSTEM killed me.
