Sir, the train does not touch KR at all( we are talking about the "line" not the station). From MAO, this train diverts to Castle Rock-Londa which is not a KR route ( MAO-Verna-Karmali-Thivim) is a KR route Sir!!!!

Also Sir, the train timings are changed due to heavy rainfall in the entire Ghat section(KR lies completely on the Western Ghats or Sahyadris). While on this particular route, Ghat section is very small which does not require any change in timings. Hope you got the point.

Sir, even recently I travelled in 12533 Pushpak Express, I saw CR written on it's few coaches( those were quite new coaches), though the train is a NER property.

This train gets a total of 12 complete hrs. for maintenance. Also any long distance train is not expected to make a return journey till it's maintained at that particular end station.
Maintenance does not decide as to which zone the train belongs to. Certainly the trains seems to belong either to SWR/NER.

Both Tatkal and GNWL have their own quota. It has been often seen that the tickets get confirmed out of their own quota only..i.e. a CKWL is going to CNF only incase a Tatkal seat is cancelled. Same applies to GNW. HOwever this is not a hard and fast rule.
