The waitling list status of train no 7401 on 26th b/w the stations Tirupathi and Vijayawada is wl/45.
The waitling list status of the same train on same day 26th b/w the stations Tirupathi and kaikaloru is wl/2.
how come the waitinglist status change b/w tirupathi...

As this a slip train, quotas may be different...
i would also like to know wheteher the quotas b/w stations differ even for a non-slip train(i.e single &direct) train?
Does the quota of tickets b/w differrent stations for a direct train differ?

are service charges and clerical charges both the same?
sir.I heard that when fully waitlisted e-ticket is not cancelled even after chart preparation, it gets cancelled by railways automatically and money gets refunded to our account..
Is that refund amount same as that when we cancel fully wailtisted e-ticket 24 hrs in advance by logging ourselves

sir i have booked a second Ac ticket from BZA(vijayawada) to HYB(hyderbad deccan) via Irctc.
the ticket fare is :Rs 574/-
the irctc service charge is:Rs 20/-(since it is second Ac)
So the total amount should be Rs 594(574+20)..

no sir, it is rs 604/-(for 594 why did 10 rs added extra)
when i cancelled ticket amount of rs 20/(irctc service charge for 2AC)+rs 60(cancellation charge for 2AC) got deducted....
that is rs 80/- got detected and total amout refunded is 524/-
...
