Reservation suspended for the train after Oct 2nd. All RSA trains reservation are also suspended. Likely to see some changes in TT but since RSA reservation is also suspended, its likely to still have RSA after LHBfication. Will the departure change to morning 06 AM from Charlapalli ? Have to wait and watch.....

One thing is for sure. SR is lazy and waste zone. Especially MAS and TVC , they don't want to maintain no train but keep their zones lol and I say this as SR railfan lol

Yes, 100% agreed. Charminar extension is NOT a solution for this connectivity. If dedicated trains between chennai and hyderabad is extended to various places, then what will the chennai people travelling to Hyderabad or the vice versa will rely on. On extension quota for them gets decreased as well.

No way. Audience of 16353/54 and 22715/6 is entirely different. It is not only connecting hyderabad alone but also connects cities in rayalaseema like kurnool to interior tamilnadu. Already kurnool is lacking proper train connection and again we need to divert via GNT. diverting it will be the worst idea.

Also 16353/54 and 22715/6 is sharing path with each other towards hyderabad and in return 22715 shares path with 12789. Let 16353/54 and 22715/6 continue as weekly.

Since special trains like 07435/36 (even 07191/92 was via GNT previously) were tried out at similar slots at various days of operation in this slot and route via guntur, Prakasam district, SPSR Nellore district, catering their connection to arunachalam and various places of tamilnadu, this slot deserves to become daily. It will also mainly serve as an alternative overnight train to tirupati as well.

It is common slot till Villupuram and there after it is different route. Such trains are running to consider the thin caterances. You can't expect every place to get a daily train right? Plus, this kind of arrangement, other trains bound to Nagercoil/rameswaram from any other destination can easily share slot.

One special train is running 07435/36 Kacheguda - Nagercoil via guntur arunachalam. That slot is nice. Hope they make that slot daily till arunachalam and from there they can run 3 days to Nagercoil, 2 days to rameswaram and 2 days to velankanni.

Why does SR always want to give away its trains to other zones? Dont they even have the capacity to run a dedicated train with their own rake to CAPE from MS? Its the passengers who will be affected if Island Exp is delayed.

As of now it is having 24 hrs TAT at SCR end. I doubt it will get morning departure from secunderabad/charlapalli side, owing to many number of departures right from kaghaznagar intercity the line up is big towards bibinagar and even in guntur line, right from employees intercity, tpty vande bharat, janmabhoomi is there and in the single line has to accomodate incoming trains towards secundrabad in guntur division. Do you think one more such slot will be inserted between these lineups which are already present in early morning hours?

Yes I am aware that till ghatkesar it is quadruple line, from ghatkesar till pagidipalli cabin it is double line and thereafter it is single line till nallapadu. Asking since there is a lineup towards guntur and trains from visakha till return shabari has to cross everything in the single line stretch. Is this scenario manageable as per TT was my doubt. If yes then no issues.

Easily they can consider pairing RSA with mannai express with spare ICF coaches, duly delinking thiruchendur express from the RSA and increasing its coaches from 18 to 22 or 24 since thiruchendur express always runs with full rush and unfortunately it became a solo train for both end to end and intermediate caterance.

Okay availability of platform at secundrabad is an issue not denying. Issue is the line up is huge Between Cherlapalli to pagidipalli, and beyond it has to be back of tirupati VB and has to handle all crossings from vishaka slot to palnadu slot or return shabari slot in the single line. That's the only issue I am asking that will such slot be really possible in the routine. 9 am slot departure seems perfectly better in this aspect.
