I am Telling since day one , IR doing miserably ignoring safety of Normal mail express train. we saw back to back two Train derailment in same section within 3/4 days and some causality. have seen massive casualty of poor peopls last few months by ignoring Normal mail and express train. Total Focus on VB which hardly use by Aaam janta.

This Govt Made Proud our Railway into Maut ka Kuan.

IRI is getting negative due to these types of people. As I said earlier also koi na koi roz aa hi jata hai VB pe blame game khelne. These people think that Aisa karne se inlog kuch bahut bada kaam kar rahe hai. This site is meant for railfanning and information why to bring politics. Enjoy the spirit of Indian railways in this site by sharing your beautiful experiences but no few people just come here to spread negativity. VB had no role in this accident but this guy always find something to target it.

Imo rake standardization is a joke if route is 130 capable. Sleeper class has no problem running at 130 but railway absurd excuse of rake standardization is pointless as of now. They should upgrade Howrah and Mumbai route to 160 then they may plan rake standardization.

This can work actually they should totally separate non ac and ac classes so that this situation doesn't occur. For non AC classes they can run a train consisting of 12 gs and 12 sleeper this is the perfect coach composition for non ac i think. For ac classes they can run with 12 third ac, 6 second ac and 2 first ac coaches. Non ac composition is perfect imo because gs people will also get plenty coaches and sleeper also. Majority of Indian railway routes are still 110 and running almost ac class trains with less sleeper isn't fair.

I think this situation is arising due to short distance between Mumbai and Pune. People might have a thinking of why to book seats for 2-3 hours of journey and hence this overcrowded gs coaches in weekends. They should increase gs coaches in short distance trains.

If extended then chhindwara is a better option considering they might have maintenance depot. Seoni lacks such facilities.

Condition of WAP 7 after the derailment of North East Express. All 21 coaches were Derailed.
As Per DM, 4 casualties and 100 are injured in which some are critically injured.

As per dainik bhasker there was a crack in track. Before this derailment a passenger train numbered 03210 passed through this location speed of passenger train was slow so no derailment happened of passenger though it created a loud thud sound. After that this train passed through this location at 128 and derailment occured.
