The Katni Singrauli section needs to be made double line. If this route is made made double line, more number of industries will eb able to come in this region. On account of poor track and maintenance, this section needs immediate attention of railways.

Mumbai-Pune Sinhagad Express
I had a bad experience travelling by this train from Mumbai to Pune. Here it is observed that the railway catering staff doesnot bring anything for eating of passenger against payment. The modus operadi followed is that outside hawkers disguise themselves as catering staff of train by wearing the dress of catering staff and serve passengers. When confronted for not wearing Identity card/badge, they still say that the badge/card is wiht the catering supervior and will be realsed after depositing of days collection. After heated arguments with the disguised staff, it was formed that this modus openandi was rampant on all Pune Mumbai trains by wearing dress of railway staff. It is understood that the Daund-manmad railway track is already electrified but the electric engines are yet to be introduced. Can railways let us know when this route will be used by electric engines for passengers considering that this route involves diesel engines (where fuel can be save). Also the Manmad-Daund route was to be made double line looking into the number of trains moving on this route/track-both ways. This was suggested in railway budget of 1991 when Shri Jakher Sherif was railway Minister. Does railway have any plans now to make this route double line

Pune-Amritsar AC Express via Ahmedabad-Jaipur-Ludhiana-Amritsar
It is understood that there is abig demand for a train via Ahmedabad-jaipur to Amritsar. While is is very essential for a diretc train-AC-between these two stations, it needs ot be seen that the train is routed via WR along the route-Pune-Panvel-Vasai-Vadodara-Ahmedabad-Ajmer-Jaipur-Ludhiana -Amritsar. The proposed rout eis much shorter than the route used by Golden temple/paschim Express. Morever it will be also used by passengers staying in Gujarat-Rajasthan, Haryana. While this proposal is pending for clearance in railway ministry, it is not taking sape on account of rake shortage. Railway may somehow introduce this AC express at the earliest so that journey time gets reduced between Pune and Amritsar.
