NE should come back to GHY, if BP mail extended then PSK frequency should be increased atleast 4 days from GHY. only 12345/46 is not enough for GHY-HWH pax, need atleast another train in the lines of Saraighat Express which would cover GHY-HWH/SDAH/KOAA/SHM/SRC in around17-19 hrs. Saraighat is jam packed all through out the year and it's very difficult to get reservation in that. same way need one more connection between GHY-NDLS in the lines of KK, TN or Telangana. NE Exp is a scam in the name of SF by railways. otherwise they can also start a bi weekly or tri weekly Rajdhani exclusively from GHY/KYQ in the reverse timings of the current Rajdhanis, like evening dep from GHY/KYQ and morning dep from NDLS.

why not a Rajdhani exp exclusively for GHY like an evening dep from GHY. The rake should be from NR. similarly a evening dep from ghy to hwh sf. again the rake should strictly be from ER/SER. Ghy needs more trains to major cities as it is loosing out due to extension and being an intermediate station. won't be surprised if saraighat is taken by agartala/silchar in near future. hardly any daily train originating from guwahati apart from ne/bp mail/saraighat

it will be even worse in coming days, don't be surprised if in future you come across alternate ac/non ac coach in the coach composition. something like this - SLR-GS-B6-S1-B1-S2-B2-S3-B3-S4-A1-S5-B4-S6-PC-S7-B5-S8-A2-S9-B6-GS-EOG
(not an actual composition but an assumption based on the track record of cdo ghy which they are perfectly capable of so as to harass the passengers)
