During platform unavailability or Signal clearance delay, train gets halted somewhere before reaching Central and after Basin bridge for central. If it is egmore, they may stop at Beach / Park. This will enable people to get down there itself and board a local MMTS to reach their home a bit early.

Hence i feel it is a good move to change terminal from Central to Tambaram and the delay wouldnt be more than 5 to 10 min

We have to think of TN fan boys pain too, All these days TN rules BZA NDLS section with literally no overtakes other than by a Raj, Duronto & a Humsafar. It overtakes many trains and that is the priority given to TN in this route. Even the halts are very much less and no increase like TG, KK. All of a sudden when a state bound train like AP which is similar to that of TN class and without a big history, overtakes TN, fans tend to go out of mood and start questioning. Cant help

TN fan boys should understand another thing that AP state doesnt have a dedicated Raj / Duronto and hence keeping that in mind AP was given a bit aggressive schedule with that OT that too after so many requests since the earlier AP AC schedule was absurd. Also by giving sleeper to AP exp with the new schedule, Dakshin Link was also removed.

It is better that IR solves this issue by allocating an early slot for TN at NDLS or TN fan boys may calmdown for somtime considering AP exp OT is reasonable as there is no dedicated Raj for AP.
