Even after acquiring 90% land and completing 20% work, this project is Closed due to Lack of Decision making by RB.

It was a very important project and had High Priority status. 90% land was acquired, 20% work was also completed.
But this project had a clause that land loosers will get railway job as per their knowledge. According to that some got jobs also. But later suddenly Railway Board stopped further Recruitment, and then locals started protesting and stopped project work. When SER had written several letters to Railway board on this issue and had asked for RB reply on this. Railway Board didn't reply SER letters and nor took any initiative on this. As a result this project had to be Stopped and later Closed by RB and SER.

Why Sleeping ADRA Division railfans are not shouting for this project , and why they r not demanding RB to restart and complete this important railway project, which will bring huge developments to Bankura district and will help many people of the state and connectivity will improve. ? This project had 90% land acquired, 20% project progress already done. Because of RB lack of decision making this project is Closed. Why ADRA Division railfans not waking up ? Start demanding for this project completion......

Agree....all sleeping there.....this is the best time for ADRA Division railfans to get their demands get fulfilled before West Bengal Election 2021. BJP Govt at Centre is giving high importance to WB this year and eyeing to Win WB in 2021. Adra Division has BJP MP from BANKURA, PURULIA District...very high chances to gets demands Approval. We all know present time POLITICAL PRESSURE can bring new trains, new projects anywhere. There is opportunity and I am saying this from last 1 month but all sleeping and just clicking Electric-Loco pictures and posting here. Only 9 months left for WB Election 2021. Wake up and put your demands before your local BJP MP, DRM ADRA and fight for it Adra Division railfans. Otherwise don't blame SER later.

Panskura-Ghatal project is already Shelved. So Forget About any Panskura-Khana project as it doesn't exist anymore. Also, PANSKURA-GHATAL, GHATAL-IRPHALA-ARAMBAGH all these projects r already shelved. See screenshot ...
Many projects in Bankura, Purulia District is Closed by RB.If these projects would have completed then there would have been huge developments of these 2 little backward states and with Maoist belt of WB.
1st July 2020. Project proposed for Shelving. But I am shocked to see the reason cited below to close this project.

Yes I agree with you Sir. I think only 1 new line project that will get completed someday in Bankura district is VSU-AMBG-TAK, As this is the only project that gets political pressure from every level. Some hurdles but will complete in future, regarding other projects No Chance of completion is seen in future presently.

But political pressure can do anything in IR nowadays. See what Dubeyji is doing in Jharkhand region, every new line project, platform, coaching depot, even closed projects are being completed or work going on and RB allocating money also for them. Although we know Dubeyji is great. But political pressure in Bankura, Purulia, Midnapur districts is very very low. If you see demands from WB, there r very few and those that r raised is mainly from Kolkata side on Kolkata Metro, Asansol, North Bengal area. This part of WB that of Midnapur, Bankura, Purulia raise no demands and No political pressure .

24 km kya baat kar rahe ho........5 km ka New line project tha woh bhi 10 years mein nehin bana hai SER mein. Later project shelved ho gaya.

I heard that from Kharagpur Division there is some group I don't remember its name now will submit some proposals to Mr DILIP Ghosh BJP MP Midnapur in 1 or 2 weeks before WB Elections. I also hope atleast some proposals gets implemented before WB Elections, and I hope Dilipda will try to implement them before WB Elections.

Bokaro to Adra MEMU via Ispatnagar, Chas service is required. Maybe after Loops at Ispatnagar and Chas and doubling is completed , MEMU will run. Much needed.

Sir I think ER is doing intelligent work in VSU-TAK New line project, ER HWH Division Is constructing Loop line with Platform at almost every station in this new line project. That is very useful looking at future, more trains can be runned easily via that route. Also ER is constructing platforms with good amenities.
SER on the other hand SER ADRA Division in Bankura-Masagram route did slightly unplanned work. There is loop lines only at few stations, also passenger amenities at platforms are not good. There will be problems when more trains starts running via this route in future.

Okay .... yes patronage in this route is really overwhelming and much higher than was expected by SER in the beginning of this project.
By SER wants to run not only Howrah bound Express trains via Bankura-Masagram route but also want to run Long distance Express trains towards Northeast side from West and South India via this route once Electrification gets completed and gets connected to Chord line......then it is a problem as this line doesn't have much loop lines and crossing......then running MEMU, EXPRESS, Goods trains will be a problem and again creating new loops works at different stations have to be constructed

Also Freight train o run korbe. Based on traffic you never know this route can be doubled line in future.
