People need to start a Twitter campaign and shame Palghat division. Timetable has now been updated on IRCTC. Departs MAJN at 3pm and departs from Bantwal at 5:17pm!!! I could cycle from Mangalore city to Bantwal faster than this. They have enough space for that useless Antyodaya express which arrives at 9am and departs at 8pm but not for this train.

Difference being Mangalore is a part of Karnataka and not Kerala. Would have been justifiable if SR had done the same to the trains coming from Karnataka into Kerala.
Here it's about intra-state connectivity where the absolutely shameless Palghat division is acting like a traitor, just sipping revenue from Mangalore area whilst denying intra-state services used by the locals.
