Agartala, Oct 30, 2015 : The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) is contemplating to run goods train on the newly converted BG rail track upto Agartala by December, official sources confirmed here today. BG conversion work from Lumding to Agartala via Karimganj has made good progress and the BG line from Kumarghat to Agartala has already been completed, according to NFR sources.

While speaking to media, he said goods train is likely to be introduced on the newly built BG line upto Agartala by December. “Since the BG works have been gaining momentum, there is a possibility of running goods train upto Agartala by December itself”, he said.
