10. Just as we enter the dark part of the night, 12450 Goa Sampark Kranti Express swiftly passes with Ratlam's WDM3A #16823R in its lead. It makes its presence felt and makes it to No. 10.

9. The wee hours of early morning and the day is about to break. Amongst the hustle of early morning commuters, Lallaguda's WAP7 #30299 with 12248 Yuva Express swooshes across to demonstrate its power and is No. 9 on the list.

8. Its just about 3 am and the devil's hour is about to begin. We can know when we see the mighty Vadodara WAP5 #30044 with 12298 Pune-Ahmedabad Duronto Express rushing itself to the 8th spot. Meanwhile 19708/Aravali Express on the other platform witnesses this devilish rampage.

7. The night is dark and all I could hear was silence. But not for long. Breaking silence comes Vadodara's WAP5 #30051 with 12227 Mumbai Central-Indore Duronto Express and quickly becomes my No. 7 pick.

6. Its been only 6 minutes since our night rider No. 7 booked his seat when his brother approaches screaming for the No. 6 spot on the list. Its Vadodara's WAP5 #30055 with 12267 Mumbai Central-Ahmedabad AC Duronto Express who makes sound of the announcement for 16338 Ernakulam-Okha Express dim.

5. And we have another early morning sprinters and this one has made it in the top 5. With its sweet chugging and melodious horn, Abu Road's WDM with 12215 DEE-BDTS Garib Rath Express finds itself on No. 5.

4. Amongst all the high speed action, what could make the night really interesting is an action packed overtake. At 00.50 IST, we got just the same when 22928 was put on loop. Following it was 12904 Golden Temple who took no time to make sure it sprints ahead of Lokshakti Express. But our No. 4 is not Golden Temple Mail. Its the train that followed. Vadodara WAP5 #30063 with 22904 Bhuj-Bandra AC SF Express closely follows 12904 Golden Temple Mail and makes it to our pick No. 4.

1. And for the No. 1 spot, its none other than the very own "King". 12952 New Delhi-Mumbai Central Rajdhani Express aggressively skips Navsari at MPS making it to the No. 1 spot.
