This tip of this train is about bedding.I travelled on this train on 20/3/2019.Coach:-2nd ac tier.From Miraj to Thane.

Bedbugs were present in blankets provided.I couldn't sleep because of this,they bite me in my hand and in back.Have complained to ac attendant,he said the cleaning isn't done regularly.!
Is this what we are paying for?Railways think we are fool?

suggestion:-Better bring your own bedding blankets for a peaceful journey!

In the past,i have travelled in pune-miraj section and vice versa 2-3 times,but either i have travelled in bus or took a train like sahyadri which covers the section in night,so this time i took the 11029 mumbai kolhapur "koyna" express from pune upto miraj junction.The only train from mumbai side to cover the entire pune-miraj section in almost daylight.

Maintainence:-Good one.Toilets were clean and seats were having enough comfort for a nap!

Occupancy:-The train got emptied at pune junction,and thereafter only 30-35 people were there in C1 coach.By the time train reached sangli,hardly people were seen.General coach and 2s were packed though,not to full atleast.

Speed:-A bit crawler train,having a good amount of slack.Dont worry about its punctuality,it will be cover up the lost time.Although,the average delay of this train is 30 minutes(to my observation).

Railfanning:-Brilliant! Covers the famous "Shindwane ghats" and "Daundaj curve" in broad daylight.Also,stops at certain stations for crossing.Try not to miss the daundaj curve!

Avability:-Seats are normally avaible between pune and kolhapur.Mumbai-pune bit difficult.

Food:-Vendors regularly ply and they sell upma,lassi,chai,and lot more.Suggestion to take pack food from pune itself.

Mandovi express-better known as "Foodie king","Foodie express",is a famous train among railfans and passengers too.The train is famous for 2 things:-Railfanning and Food.In terms of railfanning,you get a good number of crossings and overtakes.In terms of food,you get a ample number of choices to fulfill your tummy.!

far, the famous "ahuja caterers" provides the food on this train.You will get chicken biryani/chicken kolhapuri/chicken butter masala/Veg fried rice/Veg biryani/Veg pulav.See the menu card for more reference.
Another thing i'd wanna add is,if you are traveling all the way to mumbai cst,you will get dinner.! Shocked huh? I was also shocked when the pantry staff guy asked for dinner.Since i deboarded at panvel,i skipped.

Cleanliness:-The cleanliness in 2nd ac was excellent.Curtains was cleaned.Berths were having enough comfort.Overall,KR maintains this train "Very good".

Occupancy:-The train gets full packed by the time it reaches kudal.General coaches gets jam-packed.And when the train reaches Ratnagiri,there is no difference between Sleeper and General.In Ratnagiri-Panvel section,if you are travelling in sleeper section be careful from wl/rac passengers.Meanwhile, please opt for AC if travelling/without travelling family.

Punctuality:-Compared to down direction towards madgaon,wherein it runs late close to 2 hours almost daily,the Up direction run towards CST is very good,thanks to huge slack.My train departed Madgaon junction 15 mins late due to 12224 ers ltt durunto express departing on mandovi's 9.15 am slot.At karmali,22413 mao-nzm rajdhani overtook us.At kudal,we were around close to 2 hours late,but at evening when we crossed roha, the train was running 50 mins before time.!
In very rare circumstances it will get late otherwise ontime.

Railfanning:-The train doesn't get looped very much in mumbai side direction since it has first all a good number of halts and then it has to reach mumbai to work as 10111 csmt mao konkan kanya express.However,you get a good number of crossings enroute.

Avability:-Except season time, train runs empty normally.Its 2nd ac isn't having much demand although,it gets full too.Hence book in advance

Punctuality:-So the train is having a lot of slack overall,end to end.When i was onboard it was late by 2 hours at Miraj junction,but when it was at madgaon junction outer for platform clearance,it was 45 minutes before time.! So you can assume how slow the pune-satara-miraj-londa-madgaon route is.

one.In fact,sleepers was well maintained than my expectation,maybe since it's a weekly train lol.Apart from sleepers,Ac was as usual being cleaned regularly.
Occupancy:-Since it's a weekly train,rush is less.General coach of this train runs empty, enough to get a seat.Majority of the crowd deboards at madgaon junction.The fact is,majority of punekars avoid this train(too much slow)and instead hop into 22149/50 train via panvel to reach goa.
Railfanning and speed:-The main point.The excellent train for spotting the famous "Dudhsagar waterfalls".At londa junction,this train is having reversal and goes to castle rock.My sincere request to all of you,opt for G.S or sleeper to spot the waterfall.Ac attendants or TCs onboard generally dont allow people to open the door.While spotting,keep an eye on right side mainly.See pic below for more clarity.!
Avability:-Except season time, train runs empty normaly.Perfect time for timepassers, boring time for speed sters!

Coach:-C4,well maintained
Here are my reviews:-

Punctuality:-A superb priority all the way to pune.Non stop run between Mumbai Csmt and Karjat/Lonavala-Shivajinagar(Pune).If you have a connecting train from pune to solapur/satara side at night,dont hesitate to board this train.Pf avability is never a issue for this train.

Food:-Instead of taking orders from food staffs,go to the "Dining car" of this train,one and only "Restaurant train" in india and enjoy the foods.!

Cleanliness:-Top notch.! CC are well maintained as expected.

Railfanning:-A negative point.You get a little daylight for railfanning because by the time it reaches karjat,darkness prevails.However,you gdt ample of crossings provided if you are in 2S or general.

Avability:-The avability of this train is good,book your tickets least 10 days in advance and for festival times,book least 30-45 days in advance.
