that is fine... we can cancel it 4 hrs prior to departure of the train, but what if someone missed the train. Is there anyway to get some refund like before we get 50 %.

Can anybody let me know the latest refund rules for train cancelled from originating station due to public nuisance. Please its urgent...

That is the concern dear... it was e-ticket and its been almost 2 weeks but no amount is credited yet. Do you know any contact where i can contact regarding this and get this resolved. I already sent a mail to irctc regarding this but no response... Dont know what to do now..

already sent... but no response. Even i called customer care they are saying the train was cancelled but later on it departed few hrs delayed.
And you know i have the cancellation message even railways sent to me.

Just wanted to know if train is cancelled at the originating station, then how to claim for the refund? will it be refunded automatically or we need to file TDR for the respective PNR. Please advise soon as possible. Thanks
