The new line is expected to reduce travel time between Khandwa and Vadodara by approximately 200 km, providing a shorter route connecting Gujarat. It will also provide a new route connecting the tribal regions of Khandwa, Khargone, and Barwani directly to major railway lines like Varanasi and Vadodara, offering an alternative to the busy Bhusawal-Nandurbar route.

crore rupees allocated kiye gaye hai. Is new line se Khandwa aur Vadodara ke beech ki journey ka time almost 200 km tak kam ho jaega, aur Gujarat ko connect karne wala ek short route ban jaega. Isse Khandwa, Khargone, aur Barwani ke tribal region bhi Varanasi aur Vadodara jaise major railway lines se directly connect ho jaayenge, aur busy Bhusawal-Nandurbar route ka alternative bhi provide karega.
