The Rawatpur station, which is part of the 4.10km long Rawatpur-Double Pulla underground section, will connect both corridors of the Kanpur Metro. The Rawatpur-Double Pulla section will include three underground stations with a total of four levels. This section is being built using the 'top-down system', where construction starts from the roof and progresses downwards. This system ensures that the roof is constructed first, followed by the concourse and platform levels.

Corridor-2 ke antarगत nirmanadheen Rawatpur underground station ko elevated station se jodaa jayega. Metro yaatri pahle se dusre ya dusre se pahle corridor ke stations tak jaane ke liye isi station se train badalenge.
