Purushottam Express to get LHB carriages
Bhubaneswar, June 26: The Railway Board has decided to replace conventional carriages of the Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express with highly sophisticated German technology Linke Holfmann Bush (LHB) carriages that are currently being used by the Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express.
The Board has chosen Purushottam Express which connects Puri with the national capital owing to its 100 per cent occupancy record throughout the year.

more... the LHB carriages are made of modern German technology, which are anti-telescopic and cannot overturn in the event of derailment or collision. They even have fire-retardant facility and advanced couplers which are comparatively safer during fatal mishaps.
Chief Workshop Manager of Mancheswar Carriage Repair Workshop SK Pankaj during a press conference Wednesday said Purushottam would be the second train after Rajdhani Express of ECoR to get ultra modern LHB coaches for a better travel experience. PNN
