what non-sense this is! Every month, they r increasing the fares by some or the other reason. this is 2nd or 3rd time again.
Why cant they rise it all at once?
this repeated new changes in fare that they make, proves that
they themself are not sure for what they are doing, Showing thier poor working abilitiies

OR

that something is fishy..i.e they are just hiking the prices for themselves not according to the corresponding fare hikes of things in the country.
TTE should be called TRAIN CONDUCTOR not TTE!

Politics stopped them from increasing fares at regular intervals in accordance with the market forces. raising it all at once will burden the people even more so they do it at regular intervals, also because fuel prices are increased frequently the rail fares also should increase periodically.
You are right.they are just hiking the prices not according to the corresponding fare hikes of things in the country, for if they would they would have to increase the fares manifolds.
have you realized that diesel prices are increasing by 60 paise every month

since 4 months? They could have raised rs 6 at a time but instead they have allowed to effect small raises every month. Railways too are doing the same.

Yeah I agree the prices shud be increased but not more than needed and they seem to doing it more than enough.
food quality is still bad. rat is found in food. that came to notice of passengers but if catering staff wud hv noticed that then m sure they would have just removed the rat frm the food and wud have served the same food.
I will again share what I had seen on DBRT station.

was waiting for my rajdhani on the platform, doors were closed, passengers were not allowed as enough time was there for the departue.
Food was being loaded into the pantry.
While they were carrying chappatis, acciddently more than half of chappatis in the container fell on the platform. it was rainy season.
They picked up the same chapattis, didnt leave even one chapatti.. even the chapattis that actually contacted the the platform floor, they kept that chapattis back in container and gave to pantry staff.
They talk of comfort in Rajdhani, Duronto and Shatabdi trains?
I experienced RAC in NGP Duronto and Mumbai Rajdhani.. I had comfirm SU berth but the LB was for two people. where is the comfort?
nothing is done.

I cannot disagree with what you have said but we have no other option but to wait for the changes to take effect. It might take a few months or few years.Regarding food quality ,yes its awful but India is not alone here.India is a poor country, Most choose money ,however small it may be ,to a human life or their well being.Food quality is tampered with in all countries and even in developed countries like US and UK are not spared. You would have heard of that scam where dog meat was mixed with BEEF and sold all over England.

that is adulteration not quality matter.
I am talking in pretext to railways only
it is problem of IR not passenger's problem when IR asks passengers to pay fully , passengers pay it fully. Railways is used such a large scale then why such careless style of working?
Here, IR are careless despite passengers pay so much.

These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
