KR to introduce rent-a-bike services at 4 Goa stations

Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL) plans to offer rent-a-bike services at five stations in Goa and seven other stations along the Konkan Railway route. Gokarna Road, and Kumta Railway Station in Karnataka. The winning bidder will run the service within a 300 square foot zone at each station. Passengers can rent motorbikes or scooters for a fee, and the operator can also provide accessories like jackets, gloves, and helmets for an additional charge. The service will include an online booking and delivery system accessible through a website or mobile app. Only vehicles with license plates registered for rental services and designated with a yellow-on-black color scheme are allowed.
