Extension of any train is nothing new, whether it is political motivated or need of the time or operational reason like vacating pitline, platform constraint etc. Frustration from Maldah people results bitterness towards Balurghat people. What we can do when aranyak extended upto Adra or Santaldih and BJE. Even after 18 yrs of extension Bankura is still highest cash generator for this train than extended stations.
This is also true for Darjeeling Mail, Vaishali, Uttarbanga, Sealdah Duronto, Dhauli. Blame it on authority rather than resident of extended stations.
