I am talking about 160 kmph . Till now i think no train running at 160 kmph in IR. Is it running?
Also few trains that started running at 130 kmph are running in almost vacant tracks as all regular passengers trains r Cancelled now. When everything will return back to normal and all trains will be back on track, the load on tracks will increase. Is RB prepared enough with modern technology fitted on Locos and Tracks to detect flaws when trains will run at 160 kmph? I don't think any loco pilot can see tracks clearly at 160 kmph speed. Technologies to be used. What about Automatic Train Warning System proposed in i think way back in 2010-11 Railway Budget...
more... ( i don't remember exactly the year), some trails done in NFR,but whats present status of that i don't know?
Only track upgradation and replacing SL Coaches with AC coaches will not work in a hugely populated country like India, specially in tracks passing through some densely populated states like Bihar, UP, WB, etc. Either Entire track fencing required or/and modern technology is required to be fitted in Locos and Tracks to detect any flaws or detect any unwanted things on tracks and warn loco pilots and also stop trains accordingly automatically if needed. This kind of works needed all over IR where RB wants to run trains at 160 kmph. Otherwise, there is danger. OR it will remain as another way of making public fool like RB is doing now in the name of Mission Raftar. End-to-end travel time is remaining same , only 10 minutes increase in one year Timetable and 5 mins decrease in next year timetable in the name of speedup from 110 kmph to 130 kmph. Nothing visible on ground.
