Trip Report:
I booked a Side Lower by this train from SC to Chirala for 25th last Monday. I dearly wanted my train to delay by atleast 1hr so tat i will see BZA-TEL-Chirala section as well as Krishna Bridge. I checked incoming Devagiri arrival and tat day it was late by 3hrs. Felt my luck is too good tat day :-) Anyhow reached SC by 22:00 and Simhapuri was rescheduled to leave at 23:50. Yahooooo:-0. I was heart was dancing as i will be able to watch BZA-Chirala section...

Then my train which shuld run on UP line slowly moved onto DOWN line !!!!! Tat too on Grand Trunk line !!!!
Then Simhapuri picked up speed on the DN line passed Chilvur at 70KMPH. Then stopped at Duggirala on PF-2 which is the DN main line for 5mins. PF-1 of Duggirala had a MEMU which got cancelled after it reached Duggirala.....

Then again my train startd and picked up speed of 50KMPH. The OHE wire got cut on the UP line, so my train was movin on DN line. Two OHE cars were repairing the UP line wiring near Duggirala.
Then my train passed cautiously at 50 KMPH till Tenali outer...

Again stopped at TEL outer for another 15mins, & then arrived onto PF-3 (UP Main line) at atlast 9:30.... So my train took a whooping 3:30hr to cover BZA-TEL section which during normal days take just 30mins.... :-)
Departd TEL within 2 mins
Then at Tsunduru YPR-HWH crossed, at Tsunduru outer was my fav Kerala exp bound to NDLS. Then crossing & overtaking the many goods trains finally reached Chirala at 10:15. Covered TEL-Chirala in just 45mins is too good with a BZA WAM-4. My journey ended at Chirala. I will remember this...

Then at Tsunduru YPR-HWH crossed, at Tsunduru outer was my fav Kerala exp bound to NDLS. Then crossing & overtaking the many goods trains finally reached Chirala at 10:15. Covered TEL-Chirala in just 45mins is too good with a BZA WAM-4. My journey ended at Chirala. I will remember this...

Fabulous trip report. The day light activities are really jotted well. But why it was delayed that much?
the wiring on the UP line got cut near Duggirala. So practically it was a single line for some 4hrs on the high density BZA-TEL section.
But i wonder why hav they not sent my train via New Guntur to reach TEL bypassing Duggirala. Is it actually permitted to send a train in tat manner ???
Even though it takes 1:15 mins via NGNT, it would hav been wise 2 send my train via NGNT rather than taking 3:30hr for BZA-TEL via Duggirala...
