AFAIK, most platforms at major stations were made long enough to accommodate 26 ICF coachers (Sometimes regular 24 coachers had either inspection cars and/or special extra coaches attached). These could easily accommodate 24 coacher LHBs. Smaller stations may not have the required length for the platforms, but that can be increased (Won't be as difficult as it would be at major stations).
IMO, In busy seasons, a couple of extra coaches should be attached (to 22 coach LHBs) to clear the rush of passengers. 100-150 more passengers could get confirmed tickets per trip.
