Just spotted GZB WAP-5 twins #30110 and #30124 at Hazrat Nizamuddin, the evening's link for 12963 Mewar Express till Kota.
.
In the past six months, this is the fifth or so time I'm seeing this train getting hauled by a set of WAP-5 twins. This train gets some pretty diverse links - WAP-7 from TKD or RPM, single BRC WAP-5, the occasional WAP-4...

more... Today's link is also interesting because all other times I saw this train be hauled by a pair of WAP-5s were days when there wasn't a clash with 09003/4. This would bring the count of WAP-5 twins serving trains out of Delhi to a minimum of two; three, if another set I saw in the trip shed today wasn't a dead WAP-5 being pushed by a live one. CLW has been road-testing WAP-5 twins, and it looks like the eventual goal is to operate them at 200 km/h -

Like the other twins that I've seen linked to 12963 and 09004, the units are linked using a high voltage link, with the leading unit's pantograph drawing from the OHE cable. The MU control link is also clearly visible.
