In my view, dynamic fare is the case of legalized loot. Such decisions are obviously, bound to create profits. But, look at what they did and said while doing it. Railway rolled out explanations on social media that only small passenger segment will be effected and those who can "pay" will pay. And then Railways smartly rolled it out in Humsafar and Tejas trains also. Apparently, Railways has shown its indifference towards middle class, a segment of population that is always ripped in any political decision, because they are considered as the ones "who can pay".
And frankly, do they care about trains running vacant as long as they are getting successful in making money? In fact, it is a good thing...
more... for them if trains are running empty. They can show that "we have created seats as promised, passengers are not utilizing it".
