I would like to warn those in Goa being up in arms against track doubling as well as any rail development. Please realise there is no alternative to it, the best (which will turn out to be the worst tomorrow) you can do is postpone it and not do away with it. This postponing will be accompanied by indescribable harm in the long run by way of stunted railway growth, resulting in overall lack of development. When realisation dawns, it will be too late and you may be left far behind. No use then crying over spilt milk .Just as Kerala is now. You have a live example.
