Either they cancel now or they cancel during fog time Cancellation is cancellation...that cant be stopped due to nature conditions in India.
They are not estimating that Fog will be present on Monday of jan and not present on tuesday of Jan but it is clear that fog will effect train in month of Jan and Feb,they are implementing or trying a system or process that instead of providing a spare rake the canceled service will be served as spare rake either it is weekly cancelled or bi weekly cancelled.
I can give...
more... you a example why a service in a week is cancelled, lets take example of CNB-NDLS shatabdi it runs 6 days a week, last year during fog time every monday it used to start on time from CNB and used to reach NDLS ated by 2 or 3hrs on monday from NDLS the rescheduling starts by 2 hrs that reschedule increases to Tuesday by 4 hrs at CNB and day by day it use to keep on increase and finaly by sat from NDLS it used to reschedule by almost 15hrs also which made to run saturday's evening depature train on Sunday morning and again monday it used to run on time,if it is 7 days a week then will not the service be canceled?
And High partonized trains like AP(soon be renamed as TS exp) ,KK,GT,TN and dakshin from south all were started decade years back they are super hit just bcz of schedule and priority....is IR in pos to give such priority schedule in present days with present network...such big example is the AC exp which started from VSKP-NDLS and NDLS-PDY.
I also said in my statement Dakshin is less effected train due to Fog,but still cancelled which should not have done, but they have done it one trip per week only. But AP cancellation is supported bcz if AP reaches HYB 3 hrs late also next day mrng it gets rescheduled by min 1hr just because of less TAT at both stations and undergo maintenance at both NDLS and HYB either it is primary or secondary.
