Comparisons with Patna Raj-
Both are the premier trains of their respective divisions with Patna Rajdhani being ISO certified & it edges out on most fronts.
-The food provided in PNBE Raj is of way better quality & is tastier than Howrah Rajdhani. Bread provided in breakfast wasn't fresh(Taaza nahi tha, 1-2din pehle ka tha) ; Paranthas weren't cooked well (Dono kachhe the) & the paneer sabzi was tasteless in HWH Raj, while the case is completely opposite in PNBE Raj. No such problems exist there. ...

-Compartments of PNBE Raj are much more cleaner although this can be attributed to it being ISO certified.
-Yeah It did reach 9min BT at NDLS but I hardly felt that it was touching MPS. Hardly 4-5 times I could feel it touching MPS (mostly speed was around 110—120) but at whatever speed it was running, it did maintain it perfectly. In case of Patna Raj, I have noticed it many times touching MPS & also maintaining its speed perfectly (This point can be irrelevant for many).
-Coach attendants preferred not to listen to passengers' words. I asked them for the sheets & towel as I didn't get them (only had pillow & blanket) but they didn't provide me. In PNBE Raj, the staff is much more friendly.
Despite of these few discrepancies, I had a great time travelling in it. I look forward to travel in it again but only when I don't get a seat in Patna Rajdhani. Patna Rajdhani remains my Favorite Rajdhani & the de facto train along with Vikramshila Express.
