Due to the state bifurcation, From 2015 onwards , The Annual Sriramanavami Celebrations of the state of Andhra Pradesh would be officially held at this centuries old holy temple of Sri Kodanda Ramaswamy at Ontimitta, YSR Kadapa Dist, Rayalaseema, AP, 25 kms south of Kadapa enroute to Tirupathi. AP Government used to have a history dating back to centuries from the time of Nizam rule, to celebrate Sriramanavami at the Holy Temple of Bhdarachalam (Bhadrachalam Road Station, BDCR, Khamma Dist., Telangana). Goverment would send in their Pearls Talambralu along with Slik Clothing to the Dieties at Bhadrachalam. Due to the State Bifurcation, AP govt has decided to continue this century old tradition shifting its place to Ontimitta and worship the same god, Sri Rama.
