Forget about alternate route, developing a satellite station itself is not considered :). Also, the present station doesn't have RRI.

It need a bypass so that some load can be reduced on Vijayawada. The reason for long wait is only due to huge slack. Majority time trains runs on time in VSKP-BZA section but still hige slack between Eeluru - BZA given, SO they have to stop some where.

Pretty old , But as per IRFCA, [Update (3/2003)] 247 stations now have RRI installations and the number of stations with Panel Interlocking has risen to 2,426.
