this is how our andhra mp's are. i do not know where they get this kind of useless ideas. general public needs intra state connection.
in my opinion andhra needs the following trains,
1. kadapa-bza via ru, gudur,nellore intercity(it can act as kadapa-tpty, kadapa-nellore, gudur-bza)
2.anantapur-bza intercity via gooty,dhone (people from guntakal and kurnool can board at dhone, south kurnool dist uses nandyal as...
more... boarding point, and west prakasam needs this IC)
3.vskp-gnt via bvrt intercity (or they can merge 2 and 3 options and run as anntapur - vskp)
4.bza-tpty intercity via ngnt, eventhough this train runs behind pinakini there is lots of traffic
5.vskp-delhi ac/regular exp instead of bza-delhi ac exp
6.vskp-b'lore daily exp
after 2 years,
1.kadapa-guntur intercity via yerraguntla-nandyal new line
2.kurnool-vskp overnight exp
3.tpty-palasa overnight
4.kurnool-tpty intercity via gooty,kadapa
5.machilipatnam-mumbai weekly via gnt,nandyala,kurnool,gadwal,raichur.
6.vskp-gnt ovrnight via bhimvaram
7.palasa-gnt overnight via vskp,rajahmundry.
8.kakinada-gnt intercity
9.macherla-kakinada intercity
i think these kind of trains are most important for general public. most of the passenger who can afford an ac ticket have a personal car and they tend to use car to travel. i think this is why dd concept not working properly.
