How easily we leave food in the name of taste, saying I'm full and throw it but the same piece of loaf can be a diet for someone.
I was in Jabalpur yesterday I just had Lays n Coffee on breakfast so was feeling hungry at 2pm. I went to nearest one the Samdhariya Mall and at 3pm ordered Onion Uttapam. He gave me a big sized uttapam that was in two parts. I ate one somehow but I was feeling too full for another part. I dont wanted to waste it so I asked the person at counter to wrap it. I took the wrapped Half uttapam and thought will eat during dinner with ketchup n tea.
It...
more... was 7pm and I was waiting on pf, suddenly a very old guy apx 70years came and sat next to me. He was looking very much financial striken, poor clothes.
I dont know but after watching him for 10 minutes I asked him "Baba kuch khayenge kya aap ?"
To which he replied in shaking and miser tone "Kya khau Kaise khau? ".
I told him that I have something to eat and said "Saaf hai, Accha hai jutha bhi nhi hai" and gave that uttapam to him after unwrapping. He was looking into amazement then I thought he might feel it less tasty as its just Uttapam, I teared the sauce sachet and poured it on corner.
He ate first bite and I asked him "Kaisa H ? " and he said with a glow in eyes "Badhiya hai..."
After a moment he took out his glass, he had glass I was having water, He had hope I had Will and I poured water from my bottle and he drank it...
Later I gave a buiscuit packet to him so that he can eat it later.
During lunch I was wondering that why I am not able to eat full Uttapam and feeling full so early but later I realized the grains of that part were meant for the old man's meal that day..
Its the pic of him while eating. I dont wanted to take his face as i thought he may feel bad if I click pic of him. So I clicked this much only...
Its one more experience added to my travel experience diary ..
