Railway shed. It is also hauled by WAP-7 sometimes. Rarely gets WAP-5.
Speed:- Maintains a cautious speed upto Barkakhana Junction as she passes through some hilly areas. From Mughalsarai, she starts attaining mps of 130-135 Kmph. She even touched 140 Kmph.
Schedule:- Schedule maintainence is overall good But the train got late at no where except at Ranchi and New Delhi. In intermediate stops she was ontime/before time. Extra halt that was taken at BharkaKhana and that halt was like a scheduled halt
Ranchi departure was 11 mins late and arrival at New Delhi 47 mins late
Food:- Onboard Food is mostly bad. Even in this train it is bad thats what i had heard. But its not true if you choose non veg dinner. Chicken sabji was really nice and other food items too including dal, rice and roti were fine. Extra rice was also given
Snacks and breakfast are the things in which they do typical 'kanjusi'. As observed in other rajdhani trains and this rajdhani too, sandwich and juice/welcome drink is not given in Snacks.. just somasa, sweet, nakeem is given. In breakfast too they carelessly served all the things... first of all they made it too late to serve breakfast i.e around 9:45 it was served. That too no spoon nor cutlery was given that is used to butter the bread. my co passenger did it with his fingers while I demanded a spoon from the staff. breakfast quality was nice.
Hygiene :- Cleanliness is fine not that good nor that bad. Toilets are in good condition.
Overall :- The train is good. I liked the service unlike the past reviews given by frequent travellers, I rate this train as 8.5 out of 10 :)
