26 फरबरी की शाम को मुझे आजाद हिन्द एक्सप्रेस से कोलकाता जाना था, उस दिन में राउरकेला में रोज की तरह सुबह सोकर उठा, जल्दी जल्दी नास्ता करके प्रयोगशाला पंहुचा, वहा मेने जल्दी जल्दी काम खत्म किया एवं दोपहर २ बजे ही वापस अपने कमरे पर आ गया, यहाँ मेने सामान व्यवस्थित करना शुरू किया, उसी समय एकदम से बादल गरजे और बारिश शुरू हो गई, मुझे कुछ छोटे सामान एवं उपहार लेने के लिए बाजार जाना था एवं शाम को 5 बजे के बाद प्रयोगशाला भी जाना था लेकिन बारिश रुकने का नाम नहीं ले रही थी, शाम के पांच बजने से पहले ही घना अँधेरा छा गया एवं बादलो की गड़गड़ाहट...

रुकने का नाम नहीं ले रही थी, करीब छह बजे के बाद मेरे सभी साथी भीगते हुए कॉलेज से आने लगे तो मुझे लगा की शायद ,मुझे बारिश रुकने का इंतज़ार नहीं करना चाहिए, आनन फानन में मेने बाजार जाने का विचार त्याग दिया एवं ऑटो वाले को फ़ोन किया लेकिन भारी बारिश में कोई भी ऑटो वाला आना नहीं चाहता था, धीरे धीरे सात बज गए और मेरा भय बढ़ता गया लेकिन उसी समय अचानक बारिश काम हुई, मैने बिना देर किये सामान उठाया एवं छात्रावास से बाहर आया, यहाँ से ऑटो लिया एवं करीब 5 मिनट में प्रयोगशाला पहुंच गया , वहा मैने अपना प्रायोगिक कार्य व्यवस्थित किया एवं वहा से चेक आउट हस्ताक्षर करके बिना देर किये ऑटो से स्टेशन के लिए रवाना हो गया, भारी बारिश की वजह से सारे शहर अस्त व्यस्त हो रखा था, बाजार की काफी दुकाने बंद थी, में करीब सवा आठ बजे स्टेशन पहुंच गया, मैने इन्क्वारी पर चेक किया तो पता लगा की मेरी गाड़ी एक घंटा विलम्ब से चल रही हे, इसीलिए मैने इत्मीनान से अपना भारी सामान प्लेटफार्म क्रमांक 5 पर पहुचाया, स्टेशन की आधी से ज्यादा सीट भीगी हुई थी तथा प्लेटफार्म पर भी जगह जगह टीनशेड से पानी टपक रहा था, जैसे ही में स्टेशन पंहुचा, गीतांजलि चलने को तैयार थी, करीब 9 बजे राज्यरानी को प्लेटफार्म क्रमांक 5 पर लगाया गया. आने जाने वाली सभी गाड़िया भी बारिश में भीगी हुई थी जैसे ही आजाद हिन्द का समय होने को आया उसी समय समलेश्वरी का आने का संकेत मिल गया, जिससे में समझ गया की अभी आज़ाद हिन्द और विलम्ब होगी, लेकिन समलेश्वरी के आते ही आजाद हिन्द का संकेत शुरू हो गया. लगभग 10 :40 पर आजाद हिन्द ने प्रवेश किया, लेकिन उम्मीदों के उलट मेरा डब्बा बहुत जादा गन्दा एवं भरा हुआ था, किसी तरह मैने कूपे के अंदर ही सामान लगाया एवं निचली बर्थ पर लेट गया, भीड़भाड़ अधिक होने की वजह से में रेल यात्रा का जादा लुत्फ़ नई ले पाया एवं कुछ ही मिनटों में सो गया, जब सुबह कुछ शोर शराबा हुआ तो मेरी आँख खुली, मैने जीपीएस में जगह देखी तो पता लगा की संतरागांची पार हो चुका था, मैने समय देखा तो चार बजकर तीस मिनट हो रहे थे, मैने जल्दी से उठकर अपना रात्रि के कपडे बदल कर यात्रा वाले कपडे पहने एवं सामान व्यवस्थित किया, गाड़ी रुक रुक कर चल रही थी इसीलिए टिकियापारा से पहले ही में पूरी तरह से तैयार हो गया, यार्ड में मैने देखा की दीघा दुरोंतो प्लेटफार्म पर लायी जा रही थी, सुबह 5 बजे के आसपास गाड़ी हावड़ा पहुंच गयी थी, बारिश का असर यहाँ भी देखा जा सकता था. मैने आराम से अपना सामान उतरा एवं धीरे धीरे ई आर की तरफ बड़ा, वहा पहुंच कर मैने सबसे पहले नास्ता किया उसके बाद प्लेटफार्म क्रमांक आठ पर पहुंच कर बंगाली मधुर वाणी में होने वाले संकेतो को सुनने लगा. बाकी की यात्रा आपको पूर्व एक्सप्रेस के ब्लॉग में मिलेगी, जो कुछ घंटो के बाद प्रसारित होगा.

One More Journey experience by Mridul Mishra
On 26 Feb, evening i was ready to travel from Rourkela to Howrah, I waked up early in the morning and reached college too much early before then schedule, I completed my work and came out from college around 2 PM, and started packing my luggage, but suddenly raining started, I was thinking for going marketafter stopping rain and i have to go to college after 5PM for marking out sign. But Rain was not stopping, Black clouds occupied sky and before 5PM time was looking like its around 7PM, After 6PM, My college mates started coming hostel but rain was not stopped till now, so i dropped the plan for for going to market, i called few Auto Walas but nobody ready to come in raining, Around 7PM, Rain was slow downed so i taske my luggage and came out from hostel, I took a auto to college, and marked out sign there. Then after i reached Railway Station, Due to heavy rain almost every road was affected, market was closed. After Rain traffic was there on roads, i reached Railway station at 8:15, Gitanjali was standing at pf1, i checked on NTES and found that Azad Hind was late. So i carried my luggage to platform, Some seats were wet but crowd was less so easily i seated and started doing RF, Almost every coming train was affected by raining. I was hoping that Azad Hind will come before Samleshwari but i was wrong, Samleshwari came before then Azad Hind. Azad Hind arrived Rourkela around 10:40, I looked that my coach was heavily crowded and were looking dirty, i entered in coach then ffound that co passengers did not leave place for me to setting up luggage. I placed my luggage in coupe itself because everyone was sleeping, Train was started after 10 minutes halt, and after few minutes i get slept, next morning i listen few Halla Gulla like "jago, pahuchne wale he" i waked up and check location in mobile, i found that we have crossed Santraganchhi. I instantly changed cloths and set up luggage, train was crawling and everyone has left seats before Tikiyapara itself so there was sufficient option for RF now. I looked that some non AC LHB train was pulling into platform from yard. Train reached Howrah at 4:50AM, Here platform was also affected by rain. I deboarded here and checked loco link, I was surprised to see that GZB P4 was loco link. I moved slowly towards ER campus with luggage. Here i entered in a restorent and took Idly, Cost was expensive(44/= for 2 pieces) but quality was excellent. Then after i reached platform no. 8, and started waiting for Poorva to be placed, Bengali sweet announcement voice was touching my heart.
