Hello all.. I want to bring fort an issue which all of us are facing almost each n every time we travel on train,except for overnight journeys - "The exorbitant rates of pantry car meals charged by pantry car manager"..
As we know new rates are:-
Veg meals - Rs.50
Non veg meals - Rs.55

they charge anywhere between Rs.60-120 on major long distance trains..
Pls all the senior members tell all others of the most appropriate complaint numbers of IRCTC. (As I am fed up of arguing with pantry people and also demanding complaint book which leads to unnecessaary long tale of arguments)

I dont know why so much fuss is there over its bieng overtaken or not by the KING..
Isnt it clear by its run and 22913's run that this train WILL be ahead of King whatever be the conditions?? My brothers, is train ka motive hi hai to give "PRIMIER" services..
Why this will never be overtaken?? Following reasons:-
1. First of...

all IR has used the word premium for it everywhere..and premiums are not meant to be overtaken (though specials are)
2. Second, its a "Rajdhani" in its full right, (same term used in IRCTC ticketing system) and no spl AC train.
IR was very clever to give it Rajdhani nomenclature as controllers, Station Masters have Rajdhanis
and Shatabdis etched in there gene and DNA systems to give no.1 priority only and only to these two trains..
I honestly believe that even Duronto, Garib Rath and Jan Shatabdi never gets exclusive no. 1 priority as pure Rajdhani and Shatabdi gets..
3. Third,its highly unlikely that a Rajdhani which is hour or two ahead of another Rajdhani on Time Table will be overtaken by the later..
Doesnt it seem obvious that the motive is that it will be really ahead on ground also all the time as the leading train is not only Rajdhani
bt premium also.. I mean overtake karwna hhi hota to aisa time slot diya hi kyon jata.. Although there are some trains on such time slots
but they "are meant to be overtaken".. Clearly this cant be the case here.
4. Fourth, the price..Itne paise leke IR paagal nahi hai jo apni hi badnami karwaye..It knows very well that people
will feel cheated and start giving curses to it when 12951 overtakes it.
5. Fifth, its a very major step towards a change in IR's ticketing system wherein dynamic pricing has been intoduced..And the fact that this
train is a flagship train for proving this new system, IR will leave no stone unturned to keep it running bang on time..
6. Last IR has officially said that "if there is no fog, this train will run on time".. What else needs to be said..
So all my friends there is no point thinking and hoping that King will overtake it..
As someone said, even if they stand parallel at Mathura due to fog conditions, its this train only which will get green first..
No doubts about it..
