See i have traveled on a rac ticket and i have this doubt. I paid for the full ticket but i traveled on a shared birth. This means railway has taken twice the money for this berth. Is there any provision to claim half refund of ticket onnwhich half berth is alloted?

And BTW if I had to travel in unreserved coach, why would i take pain to book a tickt and give money to railways 2 months in advance on which they will earn intrest and at the end wont given services too.

We want to take our pet cat along with us on train. She is a small 1 month old cat and we plan to keep her inside the basket all the time while in journey. I need to know if it is allowed and secondly do we need to carry any ticket or some receipt from railway for the same.

looks like i should carry her in the basket and just make sure TTE doesnt catch us. Incase worst case, i have to pay some fine and put it in the gaurd cabin.... Hope my conclusion is correct.

it would be great if we can put a trending running info of the train based on the past 1 week's running status. THat would give you an assumption if train genearly run's late or on time. This will help in planning out a journey

vase technically to kiya jaa sakta hai. Hum sari trains ke liye data fetching kar sakte... time consuming job hai .. per script likh ke kiya jaa sakta hai. IR ki site pe bahut sari info nai to IRI pe hai issiliye yeh site IR se jyada informational hai .

When will IRCTC will cancel my waiting ticket. Its been 12 hours and still it is not yet canceled. Also, i am also not able to cancel as; charting is done. Please advice.
