In the Mumbai-Pune stretch, bro, the Mumbai CSMT-Kalyan route is hella crowded. So, CR ain't planning to increase its maximum speed from 100 to 130kmph. Instead, they should focus on reducing the number of speed restrictions in this section. There are like more than 6-7 speed restrictions in just 54km (Thane, Ghatkopar, Sion, etc.). It would be more realistic to bring them down, you know what I'm saying? Now, let's talk about the Kalyan-Karjat section. The current speed limit is 105kmph. CR can up it to 130kmph, but it's gonna be a real tough job, man. This section has a lot of local trains, so long-distance trains are tailgating them right now. If we wanna hit that 130kmph, we gotta have 4 tracks between Kalyan and Karjat. Without that, it ain't gonna happen. Moving on to the Karjat-Lonavala section, there's this steep gradient in the Ghat section, like 1 in 37m. The top speed here is like 55-60kmph, and there are like 3-4 track changes (at 30kmph) while going downhill. We can't really do much about it for safety reasons, but we gotta make sure we cover this 28km within 30 minutes no matter what. When it comes to the Lonavala-Pune section, it's relatively easier for CR compared to the other sections. This falls under the Pune division, and they have double distant signaling for 58km out of 64km. Trains are kinda okay saturated in this section right now. So, if we can hit that 130kmph, it would save a few minutes. Currently, high priority trains take around 48-50 minutes, while others take 55 minutes. We could save like 5-10 minutes with that 130kmph speed. Also, they gotta upgrade Pune outer. Right now, the limit is just 10kmph, man. So, it takes like 6-7 minutes to cover just 2km from Shivajinagar to Pune, and vice versa. Even if they upgrade it to 30kmph, it would reduce 2 minutes.

Mumbai mein train ki connectivity NCR se bahut zyada behtar hai. NCR mein sadkon ka vikaas Mumbai se behtar hai. Isliye log train se bus aur car mein baithne se zyada aasaani se baith jaate hain. Navi Mumbai, North West Mumbai, Non-Core Pimpri Chinchwad, South aur West Pune ke log aksar train ki jagah car/bus ka upyog karte hain. Baaki sab train ka upyog karte hain.
