Can anybody please give me an idea about the Chennai???
1. Is there any refreshment room available in chennai railway station, where i can take bath?
2. What time will take to go College Road from Chennai Station??? What is the public transportation availibility there? Can I book the Cabs in advance? if yes, how??? What will be approximate charges?

Assuming you will be reaching Chennai Central Station, that is MAS, , point no.1
there are number of South Indian restaurants around station, and also one very famous and very busy restaurant, (I am not able to recall the name though I have tasted food) is there. Fast food, full dish lunch dinner everything is available.
For Bath you have to go at First Floor where bath facility is available and also dormitory .

First , for waiting rooms of any class there is no charges.
What is on upstairs is 'Dormitory and retiring rooms' that are chargeable. and you can get what you want, Dorm, or ac room , non ac room etc.

You have already stated that you have a ticket and coach is S9, seat/berth is 04.

I have booked a ticket in Garib Rath.I have been allotted the seat no. 8. It is a middle berth. But I want to know whether it is side middle or inside middle?
You said you have been allotted 'seat' . IF you are implying that you are allotted 'berth' and if its no. is 8, it is in all probabilty SMB, i.e, Side Middle Berth.
