You can purchase unreserved ticket between any pair of station

The Unreserved ticket are normally not train specific (they are based on class of train like Passenger \ express \ superfast etc)

then you can ask for a superfast unreserved ticket to your distination without mentioning the train

Whats is the criteria to make the train SuperFast, is there a minimum speed to make the train superfast or just increase the revenue by changing the Train number to start from 2 and charge additional superfast fare.

IRCTC booking query .
I need to book 1 ticket from LJN to BPLin train number 2533 in 3ac on 11th oct in Lower berth quota. As I am above 45 year of age and traveling alone so I am eligible for this quota and also it is showing 1 seat available . But when I am going to IRCTC it is not showing . How I can book ticket in irctc for this seat. As far as I know SS quota is availble for booking in irctc. But after this beta version we are unable to go to book page in plan my travel as there is no booking link

Please try QUICK BOOK in the SERVICES option in the left site of IRCTC, you can book both 2926A and 8601.
I have no idea about Lower Berth Booking.
