There are some great, elaborate and useful Tips in this forum, and they do deserve a Green. If all Tips start receiving a Green, then it takes away value from the truly useful ones. It would be like giving everyone an Olympic Gold medal.

These days, as moderator, I am explaining my signals with a view to providing a guideline regarding writing Tips, and encouraging everyone to actively and freely rate Tips Red or Green. If members cannot handle constructive feedback and Red signals, then it would be better not to write the Tips, and save themselves some stress.

When giving Red signals, all are requested to give constructive feedback (if possible) so that the person can modify the Tip. Thereafter, you are free to change your Tip to a Green, if your requested info has been added.

If any of my previous queries is answered, then I shall consider changing my signal to a Green, not otherwise.
