In last budget, Pandharpur-Vijapur route declare was declared, what happened to that?
also doubling of Latur road - kurduwadi is proposed...
this is one of the most un-used route which is recently converted to broad gauge form narror gauge, this was the part of "Barshi light railway". Only 3 daily trains ply on this route, and other 1 weekly, 2 bi weekly and 1 tri-weekly trains are running...so no need for doubling...

more... place of that bhigwan-mohol route to be doubled, this section is part of Mumbai Chennai route which comes under doubling project golden quadrilateral. only this part is kept single line in complete Mumbai to Chennai route which creates bottleneck and major setback in development of this region.On this route there are 13 daily express trains, and 12 biweekly and tri-weekly trains are running, not to forget major fright traffic for steel, cement, grains. This route have many popular trains such as karnataka exp, siddheshwar exp, chennai mail, udyan exp, nagarcoil exp, konark exp, kanyakumari Exp, trivendram exp, hutatma exp.
I dont know what railway ministry want to prove by doubling the almost un-used rail line neglecting neighboring heavily crowded major main line.
