TN State Govt share the cost of Chennai Metro and Mono Rail Project for the Chennai District Area,Thiruvallur District Area and Kanchipuram District Area.
Like wise Tamilnadu state government should be participated in 50% cost sharing of the New Railway line Projects of SURVEYED/PROPOSED in the various other Districts area in the TN Territory for the benefit of people of TN.

TN has participated in cost sharing with Railways 2 decades ago and got frustrated with Railways and stopped it.
Nothing visible is seen in expedition by IR even if the state shared 50% or higher of the project costs.

Need not any frustration .What ever cost until completion of the Project all parties should share according to the original cost sharing agreement.Now neighboring Karnataka state execute so many RAILWAY NEW LINE PROJECTS. Andhra also execute very few and Kerala thinking of the cost sharing principle because here after no New Line project sanctioned with out cost sharing by state and priority should be given for the project in which state contribute 50% cost sharing plus providing states FREE LANDS for the Project.
Otherwise with only Railway central funds ,New Railway Line project Survey it self may be completed only after 50 to 60 years .
