#Name: Prayag means "Confluence of Sacred River". According to Hinduism bathing on these confluences removes all sins, people take bath as a worship towards River and God. Allahabad is blessed with confluence of three holy rivers, Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati. This is the Holiest confluence followed by 'Panch Prayag' of Garhwal Himalayas. This is the reason it is also called as King of Confluences or 'Prayag-Raj'. Since train starts from Allahabad, it was named as Prayagraj Express.
