Nits 1647 blog postsThe longest shatabdi of IR 12030 Asr-Ndls Shatabdi Exp... Travelled in Exec Class yesterday... The CC had 13ACCC+2 Extra ACCC+3 ECCC+2EOG =20 Coaches... Food served in ECCC was same as ACCC... In snacks sandwich,samosa,salted cashew,son papdi, tea was served... Then juice was served... Then soup was served with bread sticks and croissants with butter n in dinner the menu was same as ACCC rice, cholle, chicken curry, paratha, salad, dahi pickle and fruits(banana and peach) and then butter scotch ice cream... Train rchd Delhi half an hour before time but was allowed to enter on PF No 4 only at 11.05...

Yes, i travelled in it a 2 months back, and it departed from UMB at 2035 and it reached SZM at 2235, i.e 2 hours for flat run of 195 kms. avg speed of almost 100, and then it was slowed down post szm, cralwed through Sadar Bazar to reach NDLS at 2305. NR can seriously speed up its UMB-NDLS TT by 15-20 mins.
But when 12030 enters NDLS region, it has 12498 in front which reaches NDLS just minutes before 12030, so ultimately shtb is made to crawl post SZM.
