we slowed down at bansinala and just as the train was about to accelerate, there was a sudden noise and the train came to a screeching halt. some said there was chain pulling, others said it was a runover,, but anyways, we were stopped for a full 8 mins. then we started again with a jerk. we pulled into gaya jn at 22.44 hrs, 7 mins before time. after gaya, our struggle started,,, the train went at a constant speed of around 60 kph god knows why.. we were also having intermittent stops and finally came to a halt on nehru bridge at 00.17 hrs. opened simran on my mobile and saw the position of hwh and dbrt raj.. hwh raj was 8 kms from mgs,,, dbrt raj was 18 kms.,, so our chances of overtake of any of these 2 were virtually over. anyways, after a 5 min...
more... halt, we started again, this time we picked up speed ,,, and maintained it till MGS. we entered MGS 32 mins late at 01.42 hrs. down sdah raj was also standing on the other side. out of curiousity, i opened simran again to check the positions and to my utter surprise, hwh raj and dbrt were still 8 and 18 kms from MGS and sdah drnt was struggling at gaya!! we were leading the bunch!!after MGS, we went at good speed for sometime, but then we were stranded in the middle of nowhere for 30 mins. then, aftyer another brief run, we were again stopped . i saw outside the window for the stn name . it was MZP. after another 35-40 mins halt, we started again. i cudnt sleep because of the snoring of our netas.. anyways, at 4.41 am, we came to a halt at manda road. i opened simran to see the positions again,,, hwh and dbrt raj were stuck at MZP ,, sdah drnt at MGS,, we were leading the rajdhanis towards ndls despite all the delay! i asked few people what was wrong. they said there was no current in the OHE and the train wont run till current comes.hours passed,, and at 6.40 am, we were still stranded at manda road. bed tea was served. finally, we left at around 6.50 hrs.
