Vide # 33334 dt. 22.4.2010, the views were exressed by many including mine being a original blogger of that blog post ... about Hapa Tirunelveli Express/ 2998 - a newly started service by the Rlys. At that time it was debated .. how the both ends Hapa - Tirunelveli selected for this new train as it was required to be upto Trivandrum.
@ The mystery still remains intact about these two ends. Okha-Ernakulam is on the logic of joining two coastal areas of Arabian Sea / Gulf of Kutch having a lot common in fisheries, Port etc. Veraval express is also on similar grounds.
@...
more... The problem of pit lines was never expected to be so grave that a single weekly train can not be terminated. Still I am of the view that it's not impossible to accomodate such weekly single train within the pit lines problems at Trivandrum. Post 22.4.2010 , I have gathered info on pit lines and its difficulties faced at Trivandrum through Goggle and the reply in this blog is accordingly based.
@ Here the original query is entirely different ? The blogger has asked the use of pit lines in the first part and asked for its relation with number of trains capacity at the station for originating and terminating of trains.
I have replied to the original blogger to the extent of second part of the query. The first part is already well answered by fello bloggers. In case anybody stil wants more specific info, they may do so by raising another blog.
